Compressed Air System Improvements (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number NF-FR7700-21-00919RDS. (III) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-04 (JAN 2021) (Deviation 2020-11) (AUG 2020)(2020-05)(APR 2020)(2017-05)(SEPT 2017). (IV) This solicitation is being issued as a total small business set aside. The associated NAICS code is 333912. The small business size standard is 1,000 Employees. The Service Contract Labor Standards Act does not apply to this supply. (V) This combined solicitation/synopsis is for the purchase of the following commercial item(s): A. Oil Free Rotary Scroll Enclosed Air Compressor a. Provide and install new Powerex Model SEQ2007 Oil Free Rotary Scroll Enclosed Air Compressor (OR Approved Equal) b. Field verify all existing equipment technical data and dimensions prior to providing equipment submittals for NOAA c. Provide equipment submittals for NOAA review and acceptance d. Schedule shutdown work with NOAA Facilities e. Provide factory authorized startup and testing report f. Provide O/M training upon completion and acceptance of all work g. Provide one (1) hard copy and one (1) electronic copy of the manufacturer’s operation and maintenance manuals O&Ms B. Desiccant Air Dryer a. Provide and install new Hankinson Model HHL60 desiccant air dyer with pre & after filters (OR Approved Equal) b. Field verify all existing equipment technical data and dimensions prior to providing equipment submittals for NOAA c. Provide equipment submittals for NOAA review and acceptance d. Schedule shutdown work with NOAA Facilities e. Provide factory authorized startup and testing report f. Provide O/M training upon completion and acceptance of all work g. Provide one (1) hard copy and one (1) electronic copy of the manufacturer’s operation and maintenance manuals O&Ms C. Air Receiver Storage Tank 120 gallons a. Provide and install new Manchester 120 gallon receiver with internal epoxy lining (OR Approved Equal) b. Field verify all existing equipment technical data and dimensions prior to providing equipment submittals for NOAA c. Provide equipment submittals for NOAA review and acceptance d. Provide and install zero air loss auto drain e. Provide and install air pressure gauge 0-200 PSI f. Provide safety relief valve g. Schedule all shutdown work with NOAA Facilities h. Provide and install one (1) pressure sensor to connect to BAS point pickup module to monitor tank pressure in PSI. Connection to BAS by others. i. Provide and install service one (1) pressure sensor service isolation valve j. Perform point to point testing k.
