The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) Woods Hole, Massachusetts, requires trash removal and recycling services for NOAA/NMFS/NEFSC at Milford, Connecticut location for base year plus four option years, as specified in the solicitation and statement of work. The purpose of this announcement constitutes a pre-solicitation announcement of a proposed contract action pursuant to FAR 5.204. This is not a solicitation. No response is requested at this time. The NAICS code is 562111 with a size standard of $38.5M. Description of Work: The work consists of trash removal and recycling services for NOAA/NMFS/NEFSC located at 212 Rogers Avenue, Milford Connecticut 06460, for base year plus four option years, as specified in the solicitation and statement of work. Period of Performance (base plus (4) years): 1 June 2022 through 31 May 2027. Solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04, effective January 30, 2022. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Procedures, and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the Best Value based on price and non-price evaluation factors (Price & Past Performance).
