The Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS) is a Government owned Contractor operated Satellite Data Ground Station operating 24/7/365 at 1300 Eisele Road, Fairbanks, Alaska. The station is protected by multiple fire suppression system types, with the Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) and Switch gear rooms in the powerhouse protected by an Ansul Inergen clean agent system. This system is comprised of four (4) zones; a primary and secondary for the UPS room; and the same for the Generator Switch gear room. Upon inspection of the vessels, four (4) were found to have low readings on the pressure gauges. Vendor will provide the replacement vessels that are within pressure specifications for the system, are within 1 year of certification by the manufacturer, and contract will include removal of deficient vessels. Industry standards on the vessels, materials and workmanship is acceptable. Specifications are: 200 BAR system, pressure specification 2900 PSI. The Contractor shall be required to provide all services and supply all materials necessary to replace the four (4) replacement vessels described above with the current service certification dates new or within one year of contract award by the manufacturer. The pricing shall be inclusive of removal of deficient vessels, delivery and on-site installation in Fairbanks, Alaska. See Attachment for additional details.
