The purpose of this Amendment is to i) extend the quote due date ii) provide a list of the August 10th, 2023 site visit attendees, iii) incorporate updated Davis Bacon wage rates and iv) incorporate Vendors questions and Government responses into the above referenced RFQ. 1) The due date for the RFQ has been changed from 3:00PM EST, August 21, 2023 to 3:00 PM EST August 24, 2003. 2) The list of Site Visit Attendees is attached separately. 3) Attachment 2 – Davis Bacon Wage Determination is being replaced in its entirety with the updated Davis Bacon Wage Determination attached to this Amendment. 4) Government Responses are attached separately: Amendment 1 to RFQ NE-EB3000-23-00891 - NOAA /NESDIS /FCDAS Exterior Building Painting This is Amendment 1 to the RFQ for NOAA/NESDIS/FCDAS Exteror Building Painting. The purpose of this Amendment is to i) extend the quote due date, ii) change the due date for questions and comments, and iii) establish a Site Visit date for the above refenced Request for Quote (RFQ): 1) The due date for the RFQ has been changed from 3:00PM EST, August 11, 2023 to 3:00PM EST August 21, 2023. .2) The Due date for Questions and Comments has been changed from 3:00PM EST, August 4, 2023 to 3:00PM EST August 14, 2023. Please see the attached Amendment 1 document for detailed instructions for scheduling a Site Visit. Request for Quote: The Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS) is a 24-7 satellite tracking station operated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in support of NOAA environmental monitoring spacecraft. This is a requirement to paint the exterior of seven (7) buildings at the FCDAS site. The Government anticipates a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. This procurement will utilize North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 238320 – Painting and Wall covering Contractors. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. Place of Performance: Department of Commerce (DOC), NOAA/FCDA STATION 1300 Eisele Road, Fairbanks, Alaska 99712 Radius Requirement: The Contractor’s place of business shall be located within a 50-mile radius of the place of performance.
