The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service (NOS), Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS), has a requirement for Meter mooring (Clamparati) systems for use on USCG ATON buoys. CO-OPS uses a variety of instrumentation platforms to collect current meter data in ports, harbors and other navigational areas. Part of that arsenal of tools is the “Clamparatus” system. This purchase is for (2) complete Clamparati systems to be used to support the 2 iATON stations located in the Hood Canal and Rich Passage in the Puget sound area. These systems will be part of an inventory designed to be “hot-swappable” in the event of catastrophic failure or data interruptions. **PLEASE REVIEW ATTACHMENTS FOR MORE DETAIL**
