QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ARE ATTACHED IN AN AMENDMENT. ***SEE RFQ AND TABLE FOR DETAILED DESCRIPTON OF THE INDIVIDUAL ITEMS AND ALSO SEE ALL DRAWINGS AS ATTACHED WITH THE SPECIFICATIONS.*** Statement of Need Freshwater Canal Locks Equipment Fabrication The selected vendor will fabricate the items per the specifications in supplied NOAA design drawings. The vendor will include shipping costs of all items from their facility to 1 Sabine Island Drive Gulf Breeze, FL 32561 in their quote. For the 8 foot Elevated Stand the vendor will supply all fabrication services to produce the stand per the supplied design drawing including all mounting hardware to assemble the stand. All mounting hardware should meet the specifications detailed in the design drawing. The completed stand will be assembled and match marked prior to shipment to Gulf Breeze, FL to ensure all components fit properly. The stand will then be disassembled for shipment, and all hardware and components labeled and packed neatly and securely for shipment. The vendor is not required to quote the following as NOAA will provide these items: APX aluminum enclosure, 40 watt solar panels, 1.5” pipes, fiberglass floor grating, safety railing, and ship ladder that is shown in elevated stand design drawing.
