The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA), Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS), Engineering Division has a requirement for R.M. Young Model 05103 and 05103-45 Wind Monitors. These wind monitoring sensors are used to support CO-OPS environmental monitoring systems. Significant engineering effort was used to ensure these R.M. Young Models are capable of withstanding the harsh marine environments they are deployed in for extended periods, and that they function without issue with the specialized data acquisition and logging system to which they are connected.
