The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to award a firm fixed price contract for replacement and fabrication of canvas covers, awning, and fabrication of a new ladder on a 55' Vessel for the NOS Cooperative Oxford Lab in Oxford, MD. The Government intends to make an award to the responsive responsible quoter providing the lowest price technically acceptable. The Government reserves the right to make a comparative evaluation of quotes in determining best value in accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(3). "Best value" means the expected outcome of an acquisition that, in the Government's estimation, provides the greatest overall benefit in response to the requirement. The government intends to procure using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The government requires all contractors doing business with the government to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM).
