THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This synopsis/solicitation NC-NM5200-21-00588 constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06. INTRODUCTION/PURPOSE: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary (FGBNMS), 4700 Avenue U, Building 216, Galveston, TX has a requirement to have Elevator #1 repaired. The OTIS conventional passenger elevator’s hydraulic pump motor shall be removed and replaced, plus the contaminated hydraulic oil in the tank shall be drained, serviced and refilled with new hydraulic oil. The elevator is a hydraulic passenger elevator with a rise/length opening for two floors and holds a capacity of 2,100 lbs. Building 216 is located at the National Marine Fisheries Service Galveston Laboratory complex in Galveston, Texas. This RFQ is 100% small business set-aside associated NAICS code is 238290, with a size standard of $16.5 Million. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) offer. Period of Performance will be 45 days from receipt of award/order. A contract issued as a result of this solicitation shall incorporate the Department of Labor Wage Number 2015-5233, Revision Number 18, dated July 21, 2021.
