THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number NB686100-23-02290 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) conducted under the authority of FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This RFQ, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-04. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334513, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This requirement is being competed as a Total Small Business Set Aside. Background: The National Institute of Standards and Technology's Quantum Nanophotonics Group requires an optical sensing system for monitoring the stress of an epitaxial film and wafer curvature during molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) of III-V semiconductors. An optical measuring system, including appropriate software, that can be mounted to an existing Veeco Gen 10 MBE system is required. Hardware output that can be coupled via conventional electronics to the Gen 10 control software is highly desirable. Attached are the Requirements and Specifications describing the requirements for solicitation NB686100-23-02290. Review the RFQ and attached instructions to ensure all specifications and submission requirements are met.
