THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number NB686080-23-01905 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) conducted under the authority of FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This RFQ, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-03. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332312, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is being competed as a Small Business Set Aside. Attached is the Statement of Work (SOW) describing the requirements for solicitation NB686080-23-01905 for the following line-item number(s) (CLINs) to include description of item(s), quantities, and units of measure (including any applicable option(s)). Other attachments include: Attachment A - Instructions and Evaluation Criteria - Basis for Award Attachment B - Experience Submittal The Government will award a firm-fixed-price purchase order resulting from the responsible offeror whose quotation conforming to the requirements of the solicitation represents the BEST VALUE to the Government considering the Government's evaluation factors provided in the attached Addenda. The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) seeks information on vendors that can provide one (1) cleanroom space to be installed in a new lab space. Please review the attached Statement of Work and Specifications for specific details to meet all Government requirements. The purpose of this notice is to identify organizations capable of providing the necessary items and meeting the minimum contractor qualifications. This announcement is not a Request for Proposals or Quote (RFP/RFQ) and does not commit the Government to award a contract now or in the future. The information contained in this notice is DRAFT only and, as such, is subject to change prior to the issuance of a solicitation. No solicitation is available currently. After the results of this market research are obtained and analyzed, NIST may conduct a competitive or non-competitive procurement and subsequently award a contract. NIST will use the results of this sources sought notice to determine whether to proceed on a sole source basis or competitively if it is determined that other vendors could potentially meet NIST’s needs.
