The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis a contract with CHANGER LABS, 1 Bethel Valley Road, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. For the relocation Automatic Ionization Chamber at the NIST Gaithersburg campus under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR 13.501(a.) sole sources (including Brand Name) acquisition. The NIST Radioactivity group has a requirement to relocate an existing NIST CHANGER LABS Automatic Ionization Chamber. NIST requires the Automatic Ionization Chamber (AutoIC) to be disassembled and reassembled in the new H-wing in building 245. CHANGER LABS, INC. is the original equipment manufacturer for the Automatic Ionization Chamber. The NAICS Code is 334519 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirement listed above for NIST may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date of this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.
