THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number NB672020-22-02369 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) conducted under the authority of FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This RFQ, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-07. The associated NAICS 334515 code has a small business size standard of 750 employees. This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement. Background / Scope: The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) seeks information on vendors that can provide one (1) Rohde and Schwarz RF Power Meter System for use in research and antenna calibrations within the Radio Frequency Technology Division of the Communications Technology Laboratory. This specific brand is required due to compatibility requirements with already existing equipment. Please review the attached Requirements and Specifications document for specific details to meet all Government requirements. All proposed items must meet all capabilities, specifications and requirements listed in the specifications document. Vendors must submit all questions concerning this solicitation via email to the Contract Specialist, Aaron Ritter, at aaron.ritter@nist.gov. Vendors shall submit their quotations so that NIST receives them no later than 10:00 am (Mountain Time) on September 1, 2022. Fax quotations will not be accepted. Email quotations shall be accepted at aaron.ritter@nist.gov. Please reference the RFQ number in the subject line of the email communications. Vendors' quotations shall not be deemed received by the Government until the quotation is entered in the email box set forth above. See attached RFQ for additional details, provisions, and clauses.
