DESCRIPTION: This ammendment adds a Vendor Site visit to NIST (at Vendor's own expense) to inspect the current hardware setup for the voice recorder and to ask questions. This site visit is scheduled for Thursday Aug 1, 2019 from 0900-1100. Vendors need to submit the names of the individuals who will be attending to michael.fredericks@nist.gov NLT 1300, on 30 July 2019. Please remind all guests and visitors to the NIST campus to have the following items available before entering the Visitor's Center: A Photo ID (Federally approved state issued driver's license, Federal ID or original passport) and a Vehicle Registration Card. All sponsors are responsible for their visitors during the duration of the visit. Foreign nationals must have either their original passport or a permanent resident identification card to enter. *PLEASE NOTE: Effective July 21, 2014, under the REAL ID Act of 2005, agencies, including NIST, can only accept a state-issued driver's license or identification card for access to federal facilities if issued by states that are REAL ID compliant or have an extension. NIST currently accepts other forms of federally issued identification in lieu of a state-issued driver's license, such as a valid passport, passport card, DOD's Common Access Card (CAC), Veterans ID, Federal Agency HSPD-12 IDs, Military Dependents ID, and Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC). Sponsors are reminded that visitors are prohibited from performing research or working in a laboratory. If an individual is going to perform research or work in a laboratory, they are no longer considered visitors and must be entered as an Associate in NAIS. NIST LOCAL-53 Contract Performance During Changes in NIST Operating Status Unless otherwise stated in the contract terms and conditions, normal days of business operation are Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. If performance of the contract is onsite and/or requires Government interaction, unless you have been, or are notified that you are to work under an excepted status, you will automatically enter a temporary work stoppage. The work stoppage shall remain in effect until the lapse is resolved and notification is provided via the NIST website at https://www.nist.gov/ and/or the NIST operating status lines. Additionally, Contractors are encouraged to monitor public broadcasts or the Office of Personnel Management's website at www.opm.gov for the Federal Government operating status. NIST will provide notification to all contractors that are determined to have excepted status.
