The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer seeks a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order contract type for the bulk procurement of Honeywell CN80g (Standard Configuration – USB Adapter) Mobile Computers/Barcode Scanners configured with the Sunflower MobileTrak 5.4.2 Software application, and three-year hardware maintenance service agreements. The Sunflower/Mobile Trak 5.4.2 Software application is compatible with the Sunflower Asset Management System (AMS) and must be installed on the CN80g Mobile Computers/Barcode Scanners to ensure proper functionality during inventory of the NOAA’s Personal Property Assets. CGI Federal, Inc., is the owner of the proprietary Sunflower-licensed software product that resides on the barcode scanner and supports inventory management. CGI Federal, Inc. has proprietary Sunflower MobileTrak Software Licensed and Support. Also, CGI Federal, Inc. owns the trademarks on this software so that it cannot be changed, altered, modified, or enhanced by any other entity. In addition, CGI Federal, Inc. is the sole provider of all hardware products that are configured with Sunflower proprietary software to guarantee technical compatibility. The CGI Federal, Inc. internal hardware purchasing policy will not ensure technical compatibility or support software installation, testing, and configuration for barcode scanners purchased through a different vendor. Barcode scanners procured from a different vendor will not be configured with the MobileTrak proprietary software, and therefore would not be able to effectively support NOAA’s inventory management/accountability of Personal Property assets.
