This justification and approval sets forth the facts and requests approval for the award of a sole source task order with MITRE, Inc. to provide continuous support to the Census Bureau’s research, methodology and development work. The task order is for support related to the areas of research and implementation of unique differential privacy and disclosure avoidance methods, the improvement of survey and decennial census data quality, and the creation of new integrated data products to fill currently existing data gaps.
