The Census Bureau recieved the following question and is providing an answer: Vendor question: Is USCB only considering labor hour services for this system redesign or is the Bureau also open to evaluating commercial technology? USCB response: While it's unlikely that all of our system requirements would be available today in a particular COTS product, any solution (an in-house developed solution, a COTS solution or a combination thereof) that can meet our requirements will be given full consideration. For any proposed COTS use, we would ask that you clearly state any on-going licensing fees that would apply.
