The U.S. Census Bureau intends to procure lodging in the Washington Metropolitan Area for attendees of the State Data Centers (SDC) and Census Information Centers (CIC) Joint Annual meeting, June 16-19, 2020. Please note the meeting will be held at the U.S. Census Bureau in Suitland, Maryland, and no meeting space is needed. Lodging is required for 83 participants on the following dates: Tuesday, June 16 2020 — 83 sleeping rooms Wednesday, June 17, 2020 —83 sleeping rooms Thursday, June 18, 2020 —83 sleeping rooms Friday, June 19, 2020 —83 sleeping rooms The hotel accommodations must have the following: Full Service restaurant Metro Accessibility (within 1 block of the metro station) No major construction at the hotel (must advise if construction in surrounding area Due to the COVID-19, we request a no cost cancellation stipulation stated in the Letter of Intent on lodging confirmed for this meeting. The U.S. Census Bureau reserves the right to conduct an on-site inspection of offered facilities. Lodging must be at FedRooms rate, less than or equal to the Government per diem rate. All responsible sources must hold an active registration in SAM.gov. Vendors who can meet all requirements and provide items as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting a cost and technical proposal, hotel contract, and descriptive literature to Lisa Safewright via email to lisa.r.safewright@census.gov by 3:00 pm (Eastern) April 23, 2020.
