Responses to this notice will be accepted via e-mail to the address listed below. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this Notice. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this evaluation. Capability statements will not be returned and will not be accepted after the due date. The objective of is to obtain two sets of multi-year data detailing the percentage of each state’s contribution to national dollar expenditures on outdoor recreation activities. One data set will consist of national point-of-sale data, and the other set will indicate the contribution of each state’s sales to the national expenditure totals, classified by outdoor recreation activity. These data must be available for 2017 forward on a consistent basis. In addition, the data must be aligned to the categories listed on BEA’s current published table of ORSA gross output by activity. These data will supplement the limited source data currently used in the computation of regional statistics. BEA plans to apply this data to the estimation of the sub-national income and value-added measures published in BEA’s regional accounts.
