Would consideration be given to have someone on-site and part of the team at a remote facility? Answer: The Place of Performance may be either on-site or off-site. End of Text** This Notice is for planning purposes only and is not a Request for Proposal, Request for Quotation, or an obligation on the part of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for conducting a follow-on acquisition. NIST does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Notice, or otherwise pay for the information requested. No entitlement or payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by NIST will arise as a result of submission of responses to this Notice and NIST use of such information. NIST is seeking to identify sources capable of providing visually appealing and scientifically accurate illustrative, explanatory, multimedia depictions of physics and engineering-based research projects, experimental results, quantum science and other topics for use in electronic dissemination of NIST Physical Measurement Laboratory news reports and other information products for the interested public. Sources must have sufficient scientific understanding to interact independently with NIST researchers to ensure quality and accuracy of explanatory materials produced, often in multiple iterations.
