NIST is seeking companies with the following Capabilities: The contractor will maintain a cleanroom-only facility to store, launder and package the NIST cleanroom garments. Contractor shall provide the Government with reusable containers in which the cleanroom garments can be shipped between the Government and the contractor. Contractor is responsible for providing replacement/additional containers if needed. Containers must be sized such that they are able to be shipped using standard carriers’ services and shall not require a freight service. Potential Tasks Laundering cleanroom garments (owned by NIST), IAW ISO 14644 Requires use of deionized (DI) water with a resistivity of 16 ohm-cm or greater. Garments must be sorted, individually wrapped and packaged for shipping to NIST Boulder, CO. Repairs of garments Minor repairs or patches in line with ISO standards Tracking of Garments Tracking system shall be provided by contractor, using any system (barcode or other method of cataloguing and tracking each garment) that does not conflict with the ISO 14644 standard.
