The U.S. Census Bureau intends to procure lodging in the Washington Metropolitan Area for attendees of 2 separate meetings to be held during the same time frame. Lodging must be at the same hotel for both groups. Lodging is required for 50 participants for the Federal-State Cooperative for Population Estimates (FSCPE) and 10 participants for the FSCPE Count Review Meetings. Specifics are as follows: Note* There will be an award of two separate purchase orders. One for each group. Meetings will be held at the U.S. Census Bureau, in Suitland, Md., no meeting space is needed. This solicitation is for lodging only. Federal-State Cooperative for Population Estimates (FSCPE) requirements: • Sunday, September 22, 2019 -7 sleeping rooms • Monday, September 23, 2019 - 50 sleeping rooms • Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 50 sleeping rooms • Wednesday , September 25, 2019 - 50 sleeping rooms • Thursday, September 26, 2019 - 50 sleeping rooms 207 total rooms FSCPE Count Review requirements: • Wednesday, September 25, 2019- 10 sleeping rooms • Thusday, September 26, 2019 - 10 sleeping rooms • Friday, September 27, 2019 - 10 sleeping rooms 30 total rooms The accommodations must have the following: • Metro Accessibility (within one block of the metro station) • Please advise of any known construction going on at the hotel or surrounding areas at time of lodging. • Please advise of on-site full service restaurant, or coffee shop The U.S. Census Bureau reserves the right to conduct an on-site inspection of offered facilities. Interested vendors that hold an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) that can meet the requirements and provide rooms as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting cost and technical proposal and descriptive literature to Lisa Safewright via email to lisa.r.safewright@census.gov. Full vendor name, DUNS# and Cage Code must be included in proposal submission, or proposal will not be considered. Award will be made on a best value basis in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures, via 2 separate Government purchase orders.
