The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), seeks to obtain a contract to provide Information Technology (IT) Computing Hardware and Peripherals for end users. Such end users computing hardware and peripherals are collectively listed in a USPTO Standard Hardware Products list. With the uniqueness of USPTO IT Environments, all USPTO standard hardware product list has gone through internal review and testing to ensure compatibility with end users USPTO IT Environment. The established USPTO standard hardware product shall be available for purchase on an as needed basis. A purchasing portal with all of the USPTO standard hardware product list shall be available for authorized users to access and submit purchase request to USPTO Desktop Service Division for approval. This portal must be updated and maintained by the contractor. Furthermore, such computing equipment must be inventoried, tagged, labeled and imaged by the contractor. The contractor must have an approved infrastructure by USPTO Information Security team to host and image USPTO end user computing systems images. In warranty and out of warranty services must be provided by the contractor and contractor staff must be available at USPTO to conduct manufacture approved warranty repairs.
