Clarifications & Updates: The Notice ID for this solicitation is ABL-20082, this is for Alaska Fisheries Science Center’s Ecosystem Status Reports. ABL-20111 has been removed from the RFQ and replaced with ABL-20082 under the Submission of Quotes section of the RFQ. SF-18 attached and can be used to provide quote. The travel to Anchorage was asked to be included in quotes to participate in the Alaska Marine Science Symposium as part of the project. It is worth noting that the Symposium has since moved all virtual, so no travel will be required to attend. There is no other contractor or NOAA employee filming the in-person interviews with NOAA Fisheries staff in Juneau, removing the necessity to travel to Juneau? NOAA does not have a current contractor producing similar videos for NOAA Fisheries? NOAA Fisheries does not have a specific desired length for the three anticipated videos, but they should be approximately 3-5 minutes each. We expect the videos to be completed in time for presentation at the Alaska Marine Science Symposium. The videos will be completed prior to the Alaska Marine Science Symposium; participation at the Symposium was intended to be with collaborators in communicating the outreach videos. Virtual participation options are currently being explored. The number of days for filming is uncertain. There will be a need for some outdoor filming. There will be some b-roll video shooting, meaning we will want 'scenery' footage in addition to interviews. The video will be used for Outreach education. But maybe important to note that NOAA will retain the rights to all footage and could be used in future projects. How many interviews are expected to be filmed? Answer: Unknown, but the estimate is between 11 and 20 total for three films. Where does NOAA anticipate the b-roll and outdoor filming to occur? Answer: Footage from around Coastal Alaska. It is possible that interviews can be done virtually instead of in-person. Answer: Yes, some of the interviews can be done virtually, but some are expected to be in-person.
