The contractor shall provide one leased Type I ambulance that will be garaged on the NSIT Gaithersburg, Maryland campus and respond to calls both for the campus and Montgomery County, Maryland. The ambulance will be operated on county paved roads 95% of the time. The ambulance shall meet all Federal, State, and local ambulance safety standards, codes, and ordinances in accordance with this agreement and be certified KKK-A-1822F (Federal Specification for the Star-of-Life Ambulance) https://www.safeambulances.org/organizations/gsa/ compliant. The ambulance should provided for unlimited miles per leasing period and for emergency operations predominantly within Montgomery County.
