The Bureau of the Census is issuing this notice as a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 51-SO-BC-20-00003 is issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2020-01 dated 12-NOV-2019. CLIN0001 Corrugated Carton, 18-inch x 12-1/2-inch x 6 inch, kraft, single wall, c-flute, minimum liner-board combination 54-33-54, with glued joints, printing 1 inch letters in black ink, on one bottom panel “5151-D” and certification seal. Quantity 936,183 cartons CLIN0002. Quantity variation of up to 10% of CLIN0001. Cartons must be bundled or banded 25 per, on wooden pallets with a total height, including the pallet not to exceed 48”. The U. S. Census Bureau anticipates one award resulting from this notice. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsive, responsible, offeror meeting all specifications and requirements. Delivery is FOB destination to: U. S. Census Bureau, 100 Logistics Ave, Jeffersonville, IN 47130. Delivery schedule: Proposed to begin January 7, 2019 with five (5) tractor-trailer loads, approximately 20,000 each then continue five (5) loads of approximately 20,000 each per week until order is complete. This delivery schedule and approximate quantities is subject to change with a two (2) week notice to the vendor. The samples must be delivered within three business days after notice from the Government, at no cost to the Government.
