The Bureau of the Census is issuing this notice as a combined synopsis/solicitation for 2-wheeled luggage carts. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 51-SO-BC-19-00006 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2019-05, dated 13-AUG-2019. The Census Bureau anticipates one award resulting from this notice. Award will be made to lowest priced responsive, responsible offeror meeting all specifications and requirements. CLIN001 - 2-Wheeled Luggage Cart = 1,416 each: MUST BE MADE IN AMERICA Specification as Follows: Steel frame with a capacity of at least 125 pounds up to 250 pounds Canvas Straps or other reusable means of securing loads, such as tote bags and trade show type carrying cases Telescoping handle that extends to approximately 40" with rubberized grip 4" or 5" roller bearing, rubber wheels, with guards Raised base steel wire platform approximately 10" x 13" Overall dimensions approximately 13" x 18" x 39" Folded dimensions approximately 13" x 5" x 20" The Government may request samples from the apparent three (3) low offerors. A bid sample is defined for this solicitation as one luggage cart, fully constructed to exact specifications. Requested samples must be delivered within five (5) business days after notice from the Government; at no cost to the Government.
