Proposals are be... The Bureau of the Census is issuing this notice as a combined synopsis/solicitation for heavy-duty wire slanted shelf dolly carts. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 51-SO-BC-19-00001 is issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2019-01; dated 2-DEC-2018. CLIN001 - Heavy-Duty Wire Slanted Shelf Dolly Carts. Quantity Requested: 1,200 each Specifications as follows: • Heavy-Duty Wire Shelving Unit, 24" Deep x 48" Long with 62" high post height • Three (3) Shelves per Unit with 2" Slant from Front to Back • First Shelf approximately 13" from Floor • Second Shelf approximately 18" Above First Shelf • Third Shelf approximately 18" Above second Shelf • Wrap-Around Bar Frame at Top of Cart for Stability • Cart should be mounted on a Dolly Frame 24" x 48" with Full Wrap-Around Bumper • Two (2) Non-Locking Rigid and Two (2) Non-Locking Swivel Casters • Casters are 5" x 1 ¼" Polyurethane, Casters are to be bolted to Dolly Frame • Cart is to be Closed on two (2) Sides and the Back with Content Visible, • No Protruding or Exposed Sharp Edges; • Finish Chrome or Clear Epoxy Powder Coated Zinc Chromate Plated; • Capacity 1,200 pounds; • Shipped Unassembled with Hardware Package for Assembly, and Assembly Instructions. The apparent low bidder will be required to deliver one pre-production sample cart for testing within ten (10) days of notice, at no cost to the Government to the delivery location as follows: Bureau of the Census Attn: Receiving Section 100 Logistics Avenue Jeffersonville, IN. 47130 Delivery is FOB destination, with acceptance at same location, Deliver on or before 06-13-19. Awardees must be registered at CCR.gov.
