Airborne and Mobile Measurements to support NOAA ARL’s Research on Meteorology and Atmospheric Chemistry
This opportunity seeks a small business prime contractor to provide specialized aircraft, mobile ceilometer, and drone-based methane measurement services supporting NOAA atmospheric research. Work includes airborne measurements over the Washington, DC/Baltimore and New York City metropolitan areas, mobile boundary-layer and methane source characterization, and analysis of Boston SOCCER-AQ field campaign data. The contractor will manage subcontracts and coordinate administrative, financial, and reporting activities across the technical tasks. The period of performance is September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027, with performance at the NOAA Center for Weather and Climate Prediction in Riverdale, MD. The government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order on an all-or-none basis to a technically acceptable, low-priced offeror.
