Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

NOAA intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Rotronic brand humidity probes and cables for the National Data Buoy Center in Stennis Space Center, MS. The procurement is to replace current probes that are over four years old, lost, or damaged during fiscal years 2024 and 2025. A brand name justification is provided, stating that only the specified Rotronic probes meet the required accuracy and reliability standards for harsh marine environments, and using an alternate would necessitate years of costly testing. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) to be eligible for an award. The award will be made to the responsive, responsible quoter providing the best value.
