The contractor will provide on-call snow removal, clearing, and de-icing at the Grand Forks, ND Weather Forecast Office and the NEXRAD Office, with rapid response within two hours of notification by the Meteorologist in Charge or designee. At the WFO, work triggers at two inches of accumulation (not to exceed four inches) or significant drifting and includes plowing the main paved lot, entrance drive, dumpster access, snow piling, sidewalks/walkways, and contractor-furnished landscape- and surface-safe ice melt. At the NEXRAD Office, work triggers at four inches (not to exceed six inches) and includes plowing the gravel entrance drive and parking area and clearing sidewalks to equipment shelters and tower facilities, coordinated with WFO staff for secure access. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified procedures at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, with quotations solicited directly and no formal solicitation posted on SAM.gov; interested parties can request the RFQ by emailing the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer. Award is intended as a single firm-fixed-price, all-or-none LPTA purchase order with Net 30 payment, evaluated on pass/fail technical acceptability/capability, past performance, and price.
