DIPPR Contract Renewal
NOAA intends to award a sole source purchase order to the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) for DIPPR data usage rights, as AIChE is the only authorized vendor for this copyrighted data. The period of performance is May 16, 2026 through May 15, 2027, with two optional 12-month extensions. The data supports the ALOHA air dispersion model within NOAA’s CAMEO software suite, which is used for emergency planning and response to chemical accidents. The DIPPR 801 database provides essential chemical property data that has been integrated with ALOHA for over 20 years. Firms that believe they can meet the requirement may submit documentation within 15 days of this notice for consideration of a competitive procurement.
