Large-Tier Electrical Construction IDIQ

Notice ID:1333ND26RNB190031

The U.S. Department of Commerce, NIST, is seeking contractors for large-tier electrical construction services at its campus in Gaithersburg, Maryland, on a full and open competition basis. This new requirement will result in one or more Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts with a 5-year ordering period, with a minimum government order of $5,000 and a combined maximum of $73,788,828 across all task orders. Work includes electrical distribution systems, medium-voltage networks, life safety systems, interior/exterior lighting, and associated maintenance, repair, and installation. The selection process uses an advisory multistep approach, with Phase 1 offers required to participate, and award will be based on technical capability, past performance, price, and bonding capacity—specifically at least $20M per contract and $70M aggregate. The first task order will be awarded shortly after the IDIQ contract awards to the highest technically rated offeror at a fair and reasonable price.
