This project involves extending a demising wall in Building 1 to thermally and mechanically isolate Wing 6, along with sealing penetrations with fire-rated materials. An optional scope includes reconstructing storage room #4089 with security hardware, fire sprinkler protection, lighting, and NIST-standard signage. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, site protection, and debris removal in compliance with NIST campus requirements. A site visit is scheduled for July 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM in front of Building 1. The location for performance of services is the NIST campus.
