Gas Chromatograph with a Thermal Conductivity Detector and Flame Ioniztion Detector with Methanizer
This amendment responds to questions about an analyzer for high-pressure gas mixtures in nitrogen or air balance gases delivered at or below 25 psig. The system must support analyses including 1 ppm methane in air and 250 ppm carbon monoxide in nitrogen via FID with methanation, 0.5% carbon dioxide in nitrogen via TCD, and ambient CO in air from 40–200 ppb. It requires temperature ramping, stable detector response for baseline resolution in air balance gas, and repeatability at or below 0.2% relative area counts. The existing Visual Basic 6.0 software communicates between GC software and a 12-port dead-end VICI sampling valve, retrieves data from a GC-generated txt file, and exports to Excel; it does not currently generate XML for CompassCDS. The question period closes September 17, 2026, at 4:00 PM ET, and no extension is granted by this amendment.
