The amendment revises the contract by updating the CLIN structure, reducing the not-to-exceed unit quantity from 500 to 250, updating the Statement of Work, and providing responses to industry questions. The work supports the Biomolecular Measurement Division (BMD) of NIST’s Material Measurement Laboratory. BMD’s mission is to provide measurement science, reference materials, reference data, and technologies for biotechnology, DNA forensics, biomedical research, and health care. This includes supplying essential biological starting materials for forensic DNA testing, Standard Reference Material (SRM) production, and inter-laboratory studies.
