This project focuses on developing light scattering microscopy methods to characterize gene delivery nanoparticles, such as viral vectors and non-viral carriers. These particles currently suffer from heterogeneity issues that reduce treatment efficacy and safety. The goal is to enable rapid, multi-attribute measurements of individual nanoparticles’ physical characteristics. This will speed the development of new gene therapies and improve their effectiveness and safety. No budget, performance location, or non-bid timelines were specified.
