The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking proposals for the repair and corrective maintenance of the Lightning Protection System (LPS) on the Central Utility Plant (CUP), based on deficiencies identified in the attached SOW and inspection report. Work includes repairing bonding and grounding issues, securing rooftop conductors, replacing or reinstalling air terminals, and ensuring compliance with NFPA 780 standards. All materials must be corrosion-resistant and compatible with existing components. Surge Protection Device (SPD) installation is excluded. Contractors are responsible for all necessary fall protection and must assess roof conditions accordingly.
