Terms and conditions have changed, as a result of this amendment. Industry Questions & Responses are below: 1. Industry Question: Vendor contacted the Original manufacturer, Luxfer for a quote with a response stating, "At this time, we can only supply SGS cylinders to the United States." Government Response: Only non-SGS cylinders is considered for procurement in item 1 (Qty 80). Item 2, or separately priced line item (Qty at least 50) can be SGS cylinders. 2. Industry Question: Clarification requested on the following: Water Volume (L) - 5.9 Liter Service Pressure - 2200 psig Approval (TPED/DOT - TPED) - no response All other terms and conditions remain unchanged, as a result of this posting. COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION 1333ND25QNB640160 Gas Cylinders This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a separate written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued under the authority of FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-04, effective 6/11/2025. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325120 – Industrial Gas Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1200 employees. The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST), Material Measurement Laboratory (MML), Gas Sensing Metrology Group (GSMG) is maintaining groups of Primary gas Standard Materials (PSMs). A large amount of PSMs are depleted and GSMG is in urgent need of producing replacement PSMs. GSMG requires Eighty (80) Luxfer non-SGS and, optional maximum of fifty (50) empty (size 30 cu-ft.) Luxfer SGS® or fifty (50) empty additional Luxfer non-SGS aluminum compressed gas cylinders with packless CGA-660 stainless steel valves to make NIST Primary Standard Materials. Cylinders will be filled at NIST. Responsible quoters shall provide pricing for the following brand name cylinders. This is a Brand Name Only procurement:
