Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to extend the response date to July 11, 2024 and to answer the following submitted question: Question #1: In Section 2k of the Statement of work, it states that “Blanks for unused holes on the cold stages shall be included” . Can you state what holes these are? NIST Response: In some cases, a vendor may have many holes (slots, millouts, etc.) in a cold stages as a standard feature to enable providing a wide variety of different modular configurations (i.e., measurement configurations) depending on the particular customer. In that case, if some holes are not populated for the configuration required in this solicitation, then the vendor shall provide blanks (heat shields) to cover the unused holes and prevent thermal radiation transfer between stages.
