Agency Response: NIST does not need to test the individual donor samples prior to pooling. The selection is up to the vendor as long as they meet volume requirements, and other requirements as stated in the SOR. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged, as a result of this post. COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION 1333ND24QNB640359 Frozen Human Serum SRM 909d This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a separate written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued under the authority of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-05 effective 5/22/2024. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325199, with a small business size of 1,250 employees. This acquisition will use Small Business Set-Aside procedures. The National Institute of Standards & Technologies Organic Chemical Metrology Group requires Frozen Human Serum Standard Reference Material (SRM) 909d in accordance with the attached Statement of Requirements (SOR).
