General Information The Baldrige Performance Excellence Program® is the nation's public-private partnership dedicated to performance excellence®. The Baldrige Program Raises awareness about the importance of performance excellence in driving the U.S. and global economy Provides organizational assessment tools and criteria Educates leaders in businesses, schools, health care organizations, and government and nonprofit agencies about the practices of best-in-class organizations Recognizes national role models and honors them with the only Presidential Award for performance excellence Summary: The Baldrige Performance Excellence Program at NIST is currently working on modernizing and streamlining the Baldrige Award process, making the application process itself easier and more attractive to potential national role-model organizations. This Request for Information (RFI) is to identify publicly available assessments that recognize businesses or other organizations through a rigorous evaluation of performance outcomes across multiple dimensions; including, but not necessarily limited to, financial and market performance, customer satisfaction and engagement, and workforce satisfaction and engagement. Such rankings/ratings/listings or recognition might serve to permit these organizations to receive a fast-tracked Baldrige Award assessment. Instructions: Response to this RFI is voluntary. Individuals as well as organizations are welcome to respond; each are requested to submit only one response. Responders shall address one or more questions, as desired, from the section below titled, Information Requested. Responders should note the corresponding question number(s) in their response. Comments referencing materials that are not widely published should include copies or electronic links to the referenced information. Responders shall also include their organization name and a point of contact. All responses shall be provided in a word document that shall be sent as an attachment via email to Monica.Brown@nist.gov and Mary.Eastman@nist.gov. The subject line of the email shall reference the title of this RFI. In accordance with Federal Acquisitions Regulation Section 15.202(3), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Federal Government to form a binding contract. No contract awards are anticipated relative to this RFI. Supplementary Information Scope: BPEP/NIST invites input from any interested stakeholder. Respondents need not have direct association with the assessment or ranking organizations they recommend. Respondents or their organizations may be on the rankings/ratings/list and/or may have received the recognition. Organizations that generate the various assessments may also directly respond. All input that meets the instructions for submissions to this RFI will be considered. Information requested: Respondents may provide information for one or more of the questions listed below, as desired. What is the name of the ranking, rating, listing, or recognition program(s) you’d like to advise us of? Please provide a link to the most recent publicly available version, if available. Which sector(s) of the U.S. economy are represented, i.e., Business, Manufacturing, Health Care, Education, Nonprofit, or Government? What dimensions of performance outcomes are evaluated by the assessment? Briefly describe the evaluation process used, if known. Briefly describe how the ranking/rating/recognition is used by the organization being assessed or by other entities, if known. Briefly describe how many organizations are assessed each year and how are they selected for assessment, if known
