Contractor shall provide the items manufactured by Sumitomo on a Brand-Name Only basis in accordance with the following specifications. The cryocooler shall be a Sumitomo RDK-101D cold head, with cooling power greater than 100mW at 4K. The coldest stage of the cryocooler must reach temperatures below 3K with no heatload. The system shall use an air-cooled Sumitomo CNA-11 compressor and the compressor shall use single phase 120VAC power. Parts must be interchangeable with the existing Sumitomo RDK-101D cold heads at NIST that allow for direct integration with our cryostat design. See attached RFQ for specific details.
