AMENDMENT 0001 Dated August 9, 2023, 1 page: Amendment 0001 is issued to provide Government's response to industry questions as follows: Industry Questions: Does a top plate need to be provided for the anti-vibration table? If yes, what is the size of the top plate (W x D x H) and preferred type/material (i.e. aluminum plate, breadboard, granite block, etc)? Can you please share more information on the enclosure needing to be supplied for this project? Information on the following would be helpful: Minimum internal dimensions and maximum external dimensions Desired form factor (i.e. workstation enclosure, desktop enclosure, floor-standing enclosure) Desired access points (i.e. front door, removable side panels, etc.) If our products do not typically include installation, does your end user still want us to provide a quote for the cost to have a representative onsite to perform the installation? This requirement is a 100% set-aside as small business. Background The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Engineering Laboratory (EL) Materials and Structural Systems Division (MSSD) studies the durability and service life of infrastructure materials (polymer, concrete, engineered composites) for resilience infrastructure applications. Resilience refers to the ability of a material or system to resist and recover from damage or stress. In the context of infrastructure materials, such as those used in buildings, bridges, and roads, resilience is an important property that ensures that these structures can withstand the demands of their intended use and continue to function in the face of changing environmental and operational conditions. NIST requires an anti-vibration workstation and enclosure that meets or exceeds the following minimum specifications:See the attached specification sheet.
