The Office of Reference Materials (ORM) within the Materials Measurement Laboratory provides all of the business, administrative, service, product, and technical support for the NIST Standard Reference Material (SRM) Program. It sells NIST SRM products to customers worldwide and prepares and distributes marketing material and information about NIST measurement services and products to our stakeholders. ORM requires a Jet Mill instrument to process various materials using high pressure air. An instrument that can pulverize materials to a size of 10 micron or smaller.
