The National Institute of Standard and Technology requires horticultural technicians to perform care, maintenance, and replacement of live plants as well as the dusting of artificial plants in the main Administration Building of the NIST Gaithersburg, Maryland site. Contractor shall furnish all labor and materials necessary to provide proper care and maintenance of existing plants to prevent browning, loss of leaves, wilting, and/or death. Contractor shall furnish all newly requested plants, either live or artificial, in a timely manner to the Government. Per industry standards, Contractor shall replace any plants, existing or provided by Contractor, that die or are in an unsightly condition at any time during the contract period. Contractor shall furnish all newly requested plants and the contractor shall include arrangement of all necessary procurements, transportation, storage, and preparation of requested plants.
