This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) located in Gaithersburg, MD. The Solicitation will be advertised as an 8(a) set-aside under NAICS code 236220 – Commercial and Institution Building Construction , the small business size standard is $45 Million. The Government anticipates awarding a single firm fixed price purchase in accordance with the procedures outlined in FAR 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT The scope of this project is to perform construction of building 216 Laser System Installation project as outlined in the DRAFT Statement of Work. All work shall be performed at the NIST campus located at 100 Bureau Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20899. The magnitude for this project is estimated to be below $100,000.00. SOLICITATION REQUIREMENTS A formal Solicitation will be posted to the https://www.sam.gov/ website outlining the requirement and selection process. Quoter’s submissions shall be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation which shall include the following technical factors: Factor 1 – Experience Factor 2 – Key Personnel Factor 3 – Project Execution The Quoter whose submission represents the lowest price technically acceptable quote to the Government shall be selected for award. Anticipated Award Date: February 2023 Estimated Period of Performance: 68 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed.
