END OF EDIT The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)/Public Affairs Office (PAO) works to help ensure strong, mutually beneficial relationships with NIST's major stakeholder groups. The Conference Program and Audiovisual Services (AV) Group of the PAO supports NIST Laboratories and major programs by providing professional conference planning and AV in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with all Government rules and regulations. The NIST site in Boulder, CO, does not have an onsite cafeteria. The Government has a need for catering services for official conferences and meetings that will include pre-registered participants and invited guests. Attendee numbers will vary by event. Numbers may be as few as 25 or as many as 325. NIST events are anticipated to be 1-5 days long, and will be held at the NIST site in Boulder, CO. NIST anticipates five catered events during the one year base period, and eight events per year in each of the three one year option periods. The NAICS code for this requirement is 722320 with a small business size standard of $8.0 million. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be utilized under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. The competitive Request for Quotation, amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at www.SAM.Gov under request for quotation number 1333ND22QNB100131. Potential quoters shall be responsible for obtaining this solicitation and related Amendments, if any, from www.sam.gov after the solicitation has been posted. It is, and will continue to be, the responsibility of each potential quoter to monitor www.sam.gov for any amendments or other information related to the solicitation. The Government will not maintain a mailing list. Any communications regarding this acquisition must be made in writing and forwarded via email to carol.wood@nist.gov, and shall identify the solicitation number, company name, company address, as well as point of contact email address and phone number. Quoters must have an active SAM.Gov registration, at the time the quotation is submitted, in order for their quotation to be considered for award. THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS NOT THE SOLICITATION. NIST anticipates posting the solicitation approximately five days after the date of publication of this notice.
