END OF EDIT The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)/Public Affairs Office (PAO) works to help ensure strong, mutually beneficial relationships with NIST's major stakeholder groups. The Conference Program and Audiovisual Services (AV) Group of the PAO supports NIST Laboratories and major programs by providing professional conference planning and AV in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with all Government rules and regulations. The NIST Gaithersburg cafeteria will be undergoing a major renovation beginning October 1, 2021 and ending Summer 2023. Due to level of construction, conferences will not be held in the meeting rooms in Building 101 1st floor during this period. NIST requires a contractor to provide catering services for conferences located at NIST Gaithersburg and the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) NIST site located in Rockville, MD during the 2022-2023 cafeteria renovations. Catering services include: Continental Breakfast; AM and PM coffee break; Buffet and Boxed Lunch service; delivery, setup, and clean-up services; and ability to accommodate dietary restrictions. The NAICS code for this requirement is 722320 with a small business size standard of $8.0 million. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be utilized under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. The competitive Request for Quotation, amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at www.SAM.Gov under request for quotation number 1333ND22QNB100056. Potential quoters shall be responsible for obtaining this solicitation and related Amendments, if any, from www.sam.gov after the solicitation has been posted. It is, and will continue to be, the responsibility of each potential quoter to monitor www.sam.gov for any amendments or other information related to the solicitation. The Government will not maintain a mailing list. Any communications regarding this acquisition must be made in writing and forwarded via email to carol.wood@nist.gov, and shall identify the solicitation number, company name, company address, as well as point of contact email address and phone number. Quoters must have an active SAM.Gov registration, at the time the quotation is submitted, in order for their quotation to be considered for award.
