The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for Fire Protection Systems Inspection, Testing, Maintenance, Repair and Impairment Coordinator Services, at the NIST location in Boulder, Colorado. The work includes, but not limed to, services necessary for compliance with the Building Code and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards. Inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection systems is necessary to meet these standards. Fire protection systems include Notifier fire alarm systems, water-based fire protection systems, automatic gas fire suppression systems, wet chemical extinguishing systems, portable fire extinguishers, and automated external defibrillators. An authorized Premier Notifier distributor is required. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated period of performance is a base period of one year and four one-year option periods. It is anticipated that a single award will be made as a result of this Request for Quote. This acquisition is being conducted on an UNRESTRICTED basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621, Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths), the size standard is $22.0M. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on or about April 6, 2021; the closing date will be established in the solicitation documents.
